Woman arrested for shooting woman, 11-year-old boy in Cherry Hill

Baltimore City Police have arrested a 31-year-old woman for shooting a boy and a woman in Cherry Hill Thursday.

The 34-year-old woman was found shot in the upper body at 5:50 p.m. at Round Road and Seagull Avenue.

An 11-year-old boy was shot in the hand and head. He is currently listed in critical condition, the woman is stable.

Police believe both victims were outside when 31 year-old Nichole George approached and shot them.

She was taken into custody at the scene. Police say the victims and suspect do not know each other.

George was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where she has been charged with several counts of attempted first degree murder, 1st & 2nd degree assault as well as handgun violations.

The investigation continues.
