Five shot in 5 hours Thursday in Baltimore

 

 

Five people were injured in Baltimore shootings within five hours Thursday, as the city saw a burst of violence for the second day in a row.

It began with a shooting around rush hour in the northeast Ednor Gardens area. A 26-year-old man was found shot at 5:26 p.m. on Rexmere Road near Chestnut Hill Avenue.

He was shot in the arm and leg, and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

At 9:29 p.m., a double shooting was reported in the northeast’s Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello area.

Officers on patrol heard gunshots and found a victim on Harford Road at St. Lo Drive/The Alameda.

A 36-year-old man was shot and taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Shortly after, police were called to an area hospital for reports of a walk-in shooting and found a 33-year-old man shot in the back; they believe he was shot in the area of Harford Road at Homestead Street.

At 9:35 p.m., another shooting victim was found at a local hospital. Police haven’t determined yet where he was shot.

At 10:02 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in the arm on Pennsylvania Avenue at Mosher Street in the Upton area.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
